HI Jason..
I am always cleaning my jewels with any toothpaste and toothbrush and a mug of water.
Well you may apply toothpaste on your tooth brush and brush softly and gently into your jewels and wash with water.. results..? not bad even your diamond will be more shining and both silver & gold will be very clean without any doubt.
Good luck
You know those denture cleaning tablets drop a couple of those in a glass with water and your bracelace and let it set for a while until the tablets stop bubbling. Then rinse it under luke warm water if anything is left on the braclete use an old toothbrush under running water.
Buy a non-abrasive polishing cloth. And take it off in the shower, or when you’re at home. Your body’s oils and even the air can tarnish silver and gold.
Store the jewellery in a lined box. Lined with silk or something.
And avoid getting cosmetics or perfume or just any harsh chemical on it. Don’t wear the bracelet when you’re doing hard work, as it may chip the diamond. Diamonds may be the hardest natural substance, but the harder something is, the more brittle it is too.
If it’s dirty and grimy anyway, here’s what to do:
Using mild detergent and an old, fuzzy toothbrush, gently clean the bracelet. This detergent will not harm the gem nor the two metals.
Hope that helps!
