hotchickagirl422 asked:

I tried regular jewelry cleaner and it didn’t work. I heard that stuff is only used for cleaning gold rings and such.

I usually use toothpaste– and it takes tarnish of easily. But it’s a little harsh, so don’t use it on heirloom items or anything. It works by taking off a layer of metal along with the tarnish.

This may sound weird, but Windex or 409 works great. I wear a lot of sterling and when it begins to loose it’s luster, I take an old toothbrush and lightly scrub. Soaking the jewelry works too…just depends on whether you’re in a hurry. My jewelry always looks shiny & new…especially my watch!
    good luck
