What do I do to preserve my fake silver necklace?
Jon asked:
I have a very cheap friendship necklace that I sometimes leave in the same room as my shower, so the steam gets on it, and lately it’s been turning a rust color.
I know it’s probably not rusting, but rather the fake silver is coming off. What do I do to make it silvery again? Are there any places that would clean such a cheap peice of jewelry?

it is very simple…. get some clear nail polish and gently apply it on the necklace with the brush.. i use it on all of my fake jewelry… it should work
It’s hard since it’s fake and will flake on it’s own.
