    You can try acetone, the 100% pure stuff from a hardware store, not fingernail polish remover. You may have to leave it in it awhile, then put coin in distilled water and air dry. Acetone is good for removing all types of glues including the modern ones. Poly maybe hard to remove but I know acetone will not hurt the coin.
